Originally designed in the 1920’s to meet a demand for a howitzer that could be moved across difficult terrain, the gun and carriage could be broken down and moved by pack animals. In the U.S.M.C. from 1943 onwards, divisional artillery always included three 75mm battalions with 12 guns each. Our new Pack Howitzer comes complete with three Marines manning it.
