How foreign it must have been to see a native warrior decorated with war paint emerging from the forest. This fierce warrior holds his .62 caliber trade musket high above his head and it is personalized in a serpentine style decoration with paint. The powder and shot for his musket are carried in a horn and traditional pouch at his right side.
