This set of farm tools represents items often associated with building and maintenance on the farm. The saw, axe, adze, drawknife, and shave horse are tools for woodworking projects. The grinding wheel would help keep tools sharp, while the pulley would help move items in various tasks. The ladder would be only one of several types and lengths, and the stool and pail would be essential in the cow shed.
