In 1885 the University Press announced the "official authorization for the organization of the Wisconsin Regimental Band." With that simple statement the beginnings of what is known now as The Badger Band took shape. The first band consisted of only 11 musicians. Today, the University of Wisconsin marching band is made up of close to 300 musicians.
The 13 piece set includes one drum major, one saxophone, one (white) clarinet, one flugelhorn, one mellophone, one euphonium, one trumpet, one trombone, one sousaphone, one cymbal, one tenor drum (five headed), one snare drum, and one bass drum.
54mm, white metal, sculpted cast and hand painted in England. All sets are packed in The Little Band Man Company signature maroon box with protective foam inserts.
Buckeyes pendant not included.
