Started as a 12 piece, all male ROTC band during its humble beginnings, today The Ohio State Marching Band is much more diverse. Since 1976 the band's membership has held steady at 225 marching members. The band's instrumentation is all brass and percussion making it unique among college bands, patterned after traditional British military brass bands. One of college football's best known traditions is performed by The OSUMB when the band takes the field in the Horseshoe to "dot the i". For many of the Buckeye's most loyal fans and alumni, the band is simply referred to as "The Best Damn Band In The Land!"
The 13 piece set by The Little Band Man Company is a must have for any true fan of Ohio State. Includes one drum major, three cornets, one flugelhorn, one F-horn, one trombone, one baritone, one sousaphone, one snare drum, one bass drum, one quadra-tom drum, and one cymbal.
54mm, white metal, sculpted cast and hand painted in England. All sets are packed in The Little Band Man Company signature maroon box with protective foam inserts.
Buckeyes pendant not included.
